Film editing the invisible art as it is so often called, is both powerful and manipulative. Recently I came across this Mrs Doubtfire recut as a horror film trailer. What it shows is just how powerful an edit can be, taking a family movie and casting it as something totally different. Of course things like music and sound design also play a part in the manipulation. Here are 10 videos of movies that I'm sure you have all seen, re cut to be perceived as something totally different.
